Hi Roger, I will go through your log shortly. But first off I notice you are running two anti-virus programs, AVG and Norton.
This is a no-no. Only ONE anti-virus program should be running on a computer.
Please uninstall one of these, this is your choice as both are good programs. You might consider removing AVG since it is FREE.
I am not certain exactly what you mean by
Also is the link correct that you gave?My homepage was hijacked to Find
I did try this but only got a blank page. Is this what you see also?
That is what I saw at first, but it is now gone back to the original redirect which tells you you have a virus and asks you to download a program. It did this at first the first time, and later went to the Find.fm homepage and stayed there. I suspect it will do this again. I have removed Norton since it was expired anyway. Will AVG protect me for free?
I am now getting thje origianl redirect which says: (flashing) VIRUS INFECTION You are infected by spyware! Your personal information can be stolen!
Then it supplies a link to a "Download of scanner and remover"
I would suggest that you go back to READ ME Before Posting A Request For Assistance!
Follow those steps exactly, all of them, in the order given. Save any logs generated for posting here.
Once you have completed all these steps then run a new scan with HiJackThis and post that log, along with the others and we can take another look.
Obviously your most recent log won't be valid anymore because of the Norton Uninstall.
Yes AVG is a very good anti-virus program and offers very good protection.

Please go to this link and follow the instructions to scan with WinPFind by OldTimer.
Please submit the WinPFind Log along with a fresh AVG Anti-Spyware Log .
Instructions for AVG are in the link Judy posted.
