I wouldn't ask the girls at the mustang ranch :P
Have any idea's on what you're going to be using it for? is money an object?
I'll be using it for work, and games. Cost is no problem. Duel vid cards, and at least a 17" screen (Is there one bigger that's not an Apple?) Touchscreen maybe?
have you looked at the alienware gaming laptops? their M17 is about 1300 bucks, quad core mobile CPU, ati crossfireX, 17" screen etc.. The price is pretty good compared to the macbook pro 17" I believe HP has the touchscreen laptop/tablet PCs
Are the ati crossfireX video cards better than the Nvidia duel card setup?
I have no idea, graphics performance depends on what you are doing and how fast your CPU/data bus is, the rest is up to the authors of the software.... What if they put stuff in there that might suck ass on nvidia hardware cause they curtailed their app to take advantage of a particular feature of their favorite ATI core?/?
I'd recommend taking a trip, actually use two different laptops with identical CPU's/memory/OS, only difference being that one laptop's sporting Nvidia SLI Vs the other sporting CrossfireX??? That way you can get a feel for the "heft" comfort of the keyboard, a good long look at the screen, determin if it's to your liking/too shiny/to glary, not enough view angle etc.. Don't expect the thing to knock your socks off in gaming performance, but do expect games to be playable.... Just make sure it's gonna let you play new games with decent usable/playable performance as well as allow you to use new software. These things are more imporatant to me than sli/vs crossfirex there's too much of a variable in real world use... one game can be real fast with sli, but what if you don't like that game and well, the game you do like is faster with crossfirex etc.. what if the review you are looking at doesn't compare ati vs nvidia using the game that you like to play etc etc..
