C'mon now, just install MBAM and run it and post the log. Damn, this could
    help others.

    YHBT.

    Don't feed the idiots.

He has already demonstrated that he has absolutely no interest in
anything but making unfounded accusations. The record is clear, and
there is no reason to give him more attention than he deserves.

You are assuming the OP doesn't already have a key (or key generator) that
he downloaded from a warez site,...about the same time all the files got
    infected. <g>

As silly as it sounds, that would make a lot of sense, and why they could
quickly restore everything (from a previous disk image), with no apparent
    damage.

    Re: My Experience With MalwareBytes

    But the question remains.
Did you download a legitimate copy, that helped you.
Or did you find a hacked/unlocked copy on a warez blog somewhere, that was
itself laced with viri, trojans and other malware.

It baffles me why people would go to rogue sites to download copies of
programs that are FREE,....but it does happen.
I'm not saying the OP did it, but they never claimed they didn't.

malwarebytes is installed on my system, and it never did anything to my
files that wasn't already done before it was installed.
