Finding an adapter that has Vista 64 support is going to be tough. I have the BT820 and like it, but one of the main reasons I switched back to WinXP was Vista RC1's lack of BT drivers for my Dell BT module. Whatever module you get make sure it supports a2dp (there are other names for it, but it's basically high quality stereo). If you do find one that works with Vista 64 I'd be interested in knowing what brand/model it was.

As for range, I get about 20-30 ft, depending on how many walls/floors are in the way.

I couldn't really tell you, it's never been an issue though. You can't use them while you are charging them, but I would guess you can get several hours (maybe 4-6hrs of continuous use.) from a full charge. This is just a wild guess though and it could easily be more. I use mine for an hour or so and then they will sit for a day or two before I pick them up again. I can easily go for a week like this without needing to charge them. They do make my ears hurt if I'm wearing them for more than a couple hours, but that could just be me.

Not for sale, my ears only get sore after wearing them for more than a couple hours. Like near the end of a long movie. I use them for both my computer and my cellphone. Even used them for skype a couple times.
