Hi, what is fixwareout and what does it do? is it ok to install and run it? Thanks

It removes components of what has come to be known as a Wareout infection.

In 80-90% of cases, evidence of this baddie can be seen in a HijackThis log.

There is no reason to run this tool unless you have this malware. When you run tools like this, note that there is no expressed warranty or guarantee that it will not damage your machine.

Personally, I have found this to be a solid tool with no such adverse effects, but I would not recommend running anything you do not need.......
