    Victorio,

    I am going to offer just one piece of advise as it looks like Judy has this handled.

    Is there ANY way that you can plug directly into the router using a network cable? If there is I would immediately do that and turn off/disable ALL wireless connections on both the computer and router. That could prevent a fair amount of hacking that it sounds like is happening through the wireless.

    I would do as Gizmo has suggested. I am not the one to ask about wireless connections and he knows more than I on this score.

    Thanks Gizmo and Judy. I shall do that immediately.Just a couple of questions. Do you think that this hacking spree is due to the wireless connections? Secondly, is there any way of finding this out about who did this? You can imagine the stress it placed on my mind,I am almost disconnected from my all friends in faraway lands, lost years of info etc. I am not going to use any of the info you so kindly gave against any one or take it to the police to get someone into trouble. I just want to protect myself and others. Please help if I can find out who could have been hacking into my system. I only want my things back. Thanks again and I appreciate your help.

    There really isn't a whole lot that the normal computer user can do to figure out who did this unfortunately. The most information that is available is the IP address of the person who is getting into your network.

    I believe that it is extremely likely that the problems are coming from the wireless. One thing you can do, if you can't turn off the wireless, is to filter the wireless connections by MAC ID, and also secure the connection using WPA encryption.

    Lightbulb

    I'd also advise you to send an e-mail (using another e-mail account) to inform all your contacts about the situation.

    ~ OFF THE RECORD ~
    Here is an idea that might help you or Yahoo to find the IP address of the intruder:
    Using another e-mail account, send a provoking e-mail to your hacked e-mail address and somehow manage the hacker to reply back.
    Of course, the hacker should not know it is you that he/she is replying to (pretend that you are one of your female friends asking you to see if you wanted to see Vacation pictures from a nudist French colony or something like that).
    This could naturally provide some info on the hacker's geographical location as well as his/her IP...

    All the information given here is sound and true.As for emailing the hacker via your old account,if the moderators would allow I have a ghostmailer program that can mask your identity.I would of course pass this on to you via a moderator,to comply with the site regulations.

    Trust all of you had a nice New Year.I am sorry to have stayed unresponsive to your suggestions.Been rather busy. I thank you all for your help. I did met the police in person and all they could say was contact your service provider and it's not our headache.Fair enough. Now, I have to deal with this. They did not even register a complaint. I am a student with a massive loan on my head and I also work part time to supplement my meager revenues.Today, I could not log onto my employment account through which the university sends me my hours, wages, and any new job vacancies. When I went to the university, the helpful person showed me the changed details. The date of birth details and other things were changed. And do you know what the password was? "welcometothehell".Someone is doing this just to torment. I sent mails to my old accounts asking the hacker if he wanted money or why he is doing this etc.No response. If there is a keylogger installed in my computer, how do I get rid of this? Please help. How do I fight him/her? I cannot access any of my four last accounts. Thanks for your help.

    Give us a new HJT log Victorio. But this time, can you save it as a text file and then copy/paste it here? I am going to get PP to take a look at this and ask for his advice. He really is the resident expert on stuff like this and should have some more scans and things he would like you to do.
    But to start with run a new HJT scan and give us the log.
    Judy

    PP would like you to download and run the following programs. Save the logs as text files and copy/paste them here;
