No thanks. I've got it finally...

What did I do you ask?

Well, just as a test I downloaded WD Data Lifeguard Tools (4MB download I endured on dialup) and gave that a shot. As they are the maker of BOTH of the HDD's in question I thought why not. In there they have a drive-to-drive option to do exactly what I was trying to do. SO, I used that tool and got all of the information over to the SATA drive. Then I booted up. Well, it booted fine, but a few things were missing on startup and a good portion of my shortcuts were dead...Right after I saw they were dead, I took a looksie into my computer. Turns out that the tool didn't completely assign the correct drive letters (which may or may not have been the problem in the first place).

So, I went do Windows disk management and reassigned the Drive letters for my 2nd and 3rd partitions. It had the C: drive letter assigned correctly, but it had my D: drive assigned as G: and that's where a good portion of my programs are installed.

SO, I reassigned my drive and all is good to go. And WOW is it SOO much faster.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
