Transferring favorites

I was using Slimbrowser. I have now switched to firefox. I exported my favorites over to firefox, but it is all in a file called "from internet explorer". Is there any way I can have them listed outside the internet explorer folder. I started to click on each favorite, go to the website and resave it. But I have so many, that would take forever.

Hi Patti,

I tested what you said with both Firefox version 1.5 and 2.0 (newest) and when I selected 'import everything from IE', all IE favorites imported properly as captured in the attached screenshot.
What is your problem exactly? That you can't see the IE shortcuts that appeared on LINKS folder or all IE Favorites were transferred into a sub-folder in the Firefox Bookmarks?

To move the favorites (bookmarks) from one folder to another, high-light them by holding the CTRL or the SHIFT key and clicking on each once. Then let go of the CTRL/SHIFT key and continue holding the left mouse button as you move the high-lighted bookmarks to wherever you desire then let go off the button.
