I had a friend with a Dell 1501 laptop running XP having problems with
AntiVirus2009.
I believe he fell for the trap and dl'd the AntiVirus2009 program to cure
his AntiVirus2009 infection.
He was running an up-to-date Trend Micro PC-illan Security Pro program
(purchased) at the time.
I advised him to dl,install,update and run MBM and SAS, but he couldn't get
that done.(wouldn't connect to the necessary websites)
It also seemed as if his Trend-Micro got negated.
He finally got to dl and install SAS, but it would not run.
I finally got him to delete his TIF and temp files and reboot and then his
Trend worked somewhat.
He ran his Trend and things started getting a little better.
He dl'd, installed, updated MBM and ran it. It took over 4 hrs but it did
most of the job the first time.
Great program!!!
After that, SAS would run,
With the combo of those two progams, his Trend Micro started running at full
speed.
More work needs to be done, but overall his system is back up to speed.
MBM is a great program.
