Well, he does have a point. It is well known fact that LBJ told a BS story
about a navy ship being attacked by NV patrol boats in the Gulf of Tonkin so
they could garner public support to expand the Vietnam war. U.S. then
proceeded to bomb NV for 5 hours straight even though there was no such
attack that took place.
