I remember joining after buying a 700/900 amd from the Overclockerz store, to get a heatsink/fan and core voltage recommendation. Wound up getting an "alpha pal60something I think 6045" black fan, and later on, an ocz goliath? for a friends Tbird 1.2 thin fin? OK, do you remember which alpha fan that was? sunon?

It's the black one that spins 7k rpm, the one that cut the tip of my finger wide open, up to the nail, before the fan blade broke off and few across the room.....

Funny stuff! I remember superglued the fan blade back on..... It's still working today, it had a slight vibration so I filed some off the edge of the blade near the axis to re-balance it.. It's doing it's thing on a pentium III something or other Flip chip, with verite PCI and room for another graphics card, looking at a geforce something or other in the pile, rather than a 3dfx card this time, I think geforce2 ultra?

Gotta try a flash raid array on that thing, some PC166 running at 150mhz at higher timing, bumped the CPU frequency to 1000mhz, then go handemtheir own noobasses at the sactoe lan party, laugh my ass off when I spank em up n down on a 10 yr old POS while the're all on 1500 dollar CF or sli nvidia rigs, with 1080i hdmi LOLLOL.....

haha the good olds days mc462 i think when it came out i was all stoked but it sounded like a 747 cant believe i dealed with that crap. LOL then I discovered the dangerden crap then bobafett and I getting together on the weekends and cutting our cases to crap, then wondering what we would do to them, oh yeah more plexi-glass!! haha
