Oh gee, am not meaning to do that. Just want to get your computer "clean and speedy"

I ended up with about 15 files under c:\recycler....... Most of them say they cannot be deleted, and are empty folders. ????????
With your Norton program did you also have the Norton protected Recycle bin? If so, did it go with the rest of the Symantec stuff?
