Hi Dom, good to see you. Don't really see much on any of the logs thus far. HJT logs look pretty much the same really. Combofix seemed to have removed only cookies.
Did you run ATF-Cleaner on this machine? If not, do that, it will remove lots of junk that may be hanging around.
Are you sure your friend is only running ONE firewall? I see the McAfee Firewall, check to be sure the Windows Firewall is turned OFF.

Give me the specs of the computer...Hard drive size and how much space available. How much RAM is installed?
When did the computer begin slowing down?

I didn't run atf. I will right now. The only way I know of checking the specs is going to start control panel system....correct?

First Right Click on My Computer and choose Properties. That first page of System Properties, the one that says General. At the bottom you should be able to read how much RAM is installed.
Then close that and double click My Computer. When that opens Right Click on the hard drive, usually it is "C" drive and choose properties. That will show you the hard drive size, how much is used and how much is available.

You are right Dom, not very good.
Like I said with the other log, really looks ok. Doesn't have a lot of "stuff" running, hard drive is not too full.
He should really think about adding some RAM. It really isn't expensive, VERY easy to install, just open the case and plug it in, that's it. I would really advise him that this would be the way to go. He really only has about 1/3 of a GB of ram. Crucial is the place to go for that, right now you can get a GB of RAM for under $40. I have purchased from them many times and have always been extremely satisfied.
Have him go there, he can do an online scan of the computer, takes a second or two and then it will show how much he can add and how much it will cost. I would tell him to bring it up to at least a GB.
