    Threatfire

After reading some very good reviews of Threatfire, I installed it (free)
but it slowed down my computer almost to a standstill so I uninstalled it.
Has anyone any experience of this program from PC Tools?

I have used it before (on a w2k box) and had no such issues. What
version of windows are you running? What other security programs were
running at the time? Perhaps there was some type of conflict. The folks
at PCTools should be made aware of the problem you had.
