top2dir spywaree

I installed IE 8 two days ago and since then my browser seems to have
been hijacked by spyware - I get redirected to a website whose address
begins: www.top2dir

I have run two different anti spyware progrannes and neither seems to
have removed it.

Ideas, anyone?

If you haven't tried the free version of SupeAntiSpyware, I suggest you try
it. To get the free version of SuperAntiSpyware, just add a '.com' to it and
you will get to the site.
Download it, install it, UPDATE it, and then run it.
If you don't like the program, make sure it is not running and that you
remove the icon from the task bar and then UNINSTALL it.
It uninstalls very clean.
Another free program to try, if you haven't already, is MalwareBytes'
Anti-Malware. Be sure to update it before you run its scan.

Nanaged to uninstall IE8 and that has solved the problem
