Actually, I think I tried that and it still wouldn't let me stop Avast
from loading at startup but after a day I've gotten used to Avast
running in the background. It's not as intrusive as I thought it would be.

Thanks for the information though, I will put it in my notes in case I
want to disable Avast later.
