no redirects anymore thank goodness. and the humor made the day start off nice (although working in florida heat for 12 hours kinda puts an end to all "good" days). and about the speed, the router puts out about 54mbps so its not too bad... And thanks again guys for the help. This is a great site...

One more thing you need to do and that is set a new and clean restore point.
To do this do the following;
Right click My Computer. Choose Properties.
When System Properties opens then click the System Restore Tab.
Place a checkmark in Turn Off System Restore. Click OK.
You will probably get a warning that you will lose your restore points, if you do click ok or yes, whatever the answer is to go ahead and turn it off.
Then it will turn off. Wait a moment and do the reverse and turn it back on. Then you should be good to go.
