    Hello,

I was referred here by DomHennig above. I ran everything you said up there, Malware Bytes Anti Malware Remover, ComboFix, and RogueRemover. I have attached all 3 logs below. Can you tell me anything I need to get rid of or remove to make my computer faster and at its peak performance. And can you let me know which programs I should stop from running when windows starts? Any tips you see, please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jaclyn,

I'm going to split your post off into a new thread- please reply in that one.

Hang in there for Judy to have a look at your scanlogs. I know she will have some further steps for you.

    Cheers
    PP

    Hi Jaclyn,
Whew! LOTS of nasty stuff in those logs. WHERE is your onboard anti-virus program? You ABSOLUTELY MUST have one of those. Go HERE
PP lists three very good FREE ones. Pick ONE, download, install and update it. Once it is updated then run a FULL system scan with it and allow it to remove all that it finds.
Next go to the ESET Online Scanner

    • You will need to use Internet Explorer to to complete this scan.
    • You will need to temporarily Disable your current Anti-virus program.
    • Be sure the option to Remove found threats is checked and the option to Scan unwanted applications is Checked.
    • When you have completed that scan, a scanlog ought to have been created and located at C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt.

These other logs are so large it is going to take me awhile to go through them. Follow the instructions I have given you and post back with those logs and also a new HJT scan log.

I downloaded AntiVir. Now, when the scanner finds a problem, do I click Quarantine or delete?

    Thanks!

Quarantine is what is usually recommended. That way if there is an error and the file is not a virus it can be restored...this is very rare by the way. Leave it in quarantine a week or so and then empty quarantine.
You need to do ALL recommended scans from my above post...you have a LOT of nasty stuff there. You need to do this asap before you have actual damage to crucial files on the computer.

Sorry, I deleted them instead because you didn't respond like you usually do in 5 seconds, so i thought you went on vacation for the weekend but everything works fine it seems? But I AM running ESET right now, and will run the others asap and will post to you tomorrow morning.

again thanks for all the help!

Don't worry about deleting the found nasty items. Not a problem. Continue with all the steps and I will keep checking back here for the logs, I will be around all weekend.

    Go to "C" drive and look here;
    C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\
Open that folder and you should see log.txt.
    That is your log.
