| On Friday I formatted my hhd and reinstalled winxp then installed
| nod32 ver 3 anti virus and zone alarm also window washer.

| I then set up my Internet connection and logged on the net Nod
| immediately updated itself, Saturday I installed a couple of programs
| Nero,Agent and Acronis. Today Sunday I downloaded and installed
| Ad-Aware 2008 and ran a scan then came the big surprise it claimed to
| have found 40 infections and they were all in the system restore
| folder.

| I disabled system restore rebooted re-enabled system restore rebooted
| and did another scan this time it found 8 infections none in the
| restore folder,I can only think this is a ploy to get me to pay for
| the full version well its been dumped.

Extracts of the Ad-aware logs showing what was found in the System Restore cache and the
subsequent 8 infections outside the System Restore cache would be appreciated.
