Hi,

I recently installed Spybot v1.6.0.30 and have noticed a couple
of funnies compared with the earlier version.

1. Wastebasket

A new option appeared in the Wastebasket labeled "Scan using
SpyBot Search & Destroy".

Clicking on it opens a small window labeled SpyBot Search &
Destroy. On the lower RHS there is a Scan completed label and a
Cancel button. It doesn't seem to do anything.

Does anyone know how to delete this option in the Wastebasket?


2. Registry changes

In the previous version any option that required a registry
change brought up a window asking if the change should be allowed
or not. This seems to have disappeared in the new version. I
haven't been able to find a setting in Spybot to restore the
registry change check.

Does anyone know how to restore this option?
