I just read recently that PC Magazine reviewed some of these and put
them "bottom of the list." Specifically I think they said SpyBot and
Ad-Aware are now "out of date" and no longer effective. I don't know if
you are overlapping your protection but I'm not sure you're helping
that much according to PC-Mag. Of course, they DO need advertising and
freeware probably doesn't pay the bills. <smile>
