That's the key part. I doubt anyone was searching for you and it's
more likely to be a spam mail, esp as it has a referral code in the
URL.

I've had similar mails from sites claiming that someone is/was looking
for me but they were sent to an address I wouldn't use for such a site
plus if someone was looking for me, I'm easy enough to find without
the use of such a site. One favourite is that an old friend had found
me in a year book. Year books are an American thing and I'm not
American so I couldn't have been found in one.
