GeCube has announced its new Star Twin 2 graphics card. The new Star Twin 2 is powered by two AMD RV560 ATI Radeon X1650XT graphics processors on a single PCB. Each ATI Radeon X1650XT graphics processor feature 24 pixel shaders with 8 pixel pipelines. GeCube doesn’t reveal the core and memory clock information of the Star Twin 2. Nevertheless, the ATI Radeon X1650XT is typically clocked at 575 MHz core and 675 MHz memory on single-GPU boards.

With two GPUs onboard the GeCube Star Twin 2 features four DVI video outputs. This is accomplished using two DMS59 cables. In addition to four DVI outputs, the Star Twin 2 is fully HDCP compliant for Blu-ray and HD DVD playback. AVIVO video features are also supported with the Star Twin 2.

The GeCube Star Twin 2 has only been announced for the Taiwanese market. It is unknown if GeCube will release the Star Twin 2 in the US market.

Earlier this year GeCube also announced development on a dual-GPU Radeon X1600 card, but the card did not celebrate much success in terms of commercial sales.
