    I've got the fix for you. Haven't tried Avira yet myself but have
    downoaded it and will be testing it out later. I've read it is good
    though and is light on resources. Detection of virii is supposedly better
    than AVG too. I don't care much for the AVG 8 either and I don't like
    Avast much so will probably be be switching all my PC's to free Avira. I
    don't find AVG 8 slow, I just don't like the obtrusive pop up **** they
    have put into it to try and get me to buy it.
