Anyone know if this is safe? It's a BHO that couldn't be analyzed here, so I'm wondering if it should be removed.

First of all please read this thread IMPORTANT: HiJackThis Analyzer Information
Secondly, HJT is basically a scanner program not a fixer program. Logs should not be analyzed by anyone who is not familiar with the various sections of the log and what is good and bad.
Third, the entry;
is a legal BHO, it is Linkscanner - now a part of the new version of AVG Antivirus.O2 - BHO: WormRadar.com IESiteBlocker.NavFilter - {3CA2F312-6F6E-4B53-A66E-4E65E497C8C0} - C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgssie.
If you are having problems please feel free to post your entire HJT log here and we will be very happy to take a look and offer advice.
Judy
Thanks so much! I was having a lot of 217 errors when I closed IE7 and wondered if it was because of a virus in my scanner. I finally had to do a system restore, but if anyone has advice on 217's I'd appreciate it in case it happens again!
Can you give us the exact and full wording of the errors if possible?
When I close IE7, a popup says "the exception unknown software (Oxoeefade) occured in the application at location Ox7c812256." I then click and get the popup that says Runtime error 217 at O226FB4A. This is all greek to to me and this is a new computer, so I'm really frustrated. Thanks Holland!
Try resetting Internet Options (Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab, "Reset".
Now what this will do is this;
it deletes all temporary files (which is safe) and disables browser add-ons (which we probably don't need anyway) and resets all the changed settings (which should just go to default settings).
You will probably have to reset your Home page and other than that. if you are running dsl you may have to do a reset of the modem by turning it off and then back on. Other than that it shouldn't do anything else.
Try it and see.
Thank you! I tried the dsl fix first. It did help speed up the page load of IE. But I still had a 217 error. I just did that fix and it seems to have fixed the problem. Any idea what caused it in the first place? I searched the web and everyone seemed to have a different opinion.
Thanks again. Will update you tomorrow to let you know it's not just a lucky fluke tonight. lol
Well any number of things can cause this error. But very likely with your computer it probably was an uncompatable browser add-on, especially since this seemed to correct the problem. Usually something like extra toolbars that you have added will do it. Some just won't work well with IE7. This is why you should be very careful what you have added.
Really would help if you would do a new scan with HiJackThis and post the log, I might be able to get a better idea of what may have caused this, plus occasionally this error can be caused by an infection of some sort.
Do a new scan and post the log, Ok?
Judy
Ok, Judy, here it is. I took AVG out and put Avast back in because AVG seemed to not be catching everything. I may end up putting it back for another try, but I've used Avast for a long time without problems.
Here's the log. Right now, I have all add-ons disabled except for Flash Player which I wanted to reinstall when I turned on the computer this morning. P.S. The only Google program I have installed is Google Earth. Is the Google updater necessary or problematic even?

I took out AVG because it wasn't as strong as Avast. I have all add-ons disabled now. Here's the log.
