i did enter the tag and got the same results.
i think they used to have that update check service but now they canceled it, i am not sure if i should install the updates because last time i installed a update, it almost messed up the hardware.. like my graphic card was too stressed out after the update that it gave me the blue screen.. so i unintalled it.

Should i call dell and ask them about this?

I just was able to get info about my computer via the dell site. Are you certain you have the correct page?

ooo first let me apologize for my delay.

i had lot of work to do and couldn't find time. I am sorry.

next the dell site seems ok, hardware seems to be up to date.. not all but the important ones.

My PC is finally getting some speed. after trying some good software.. now i am using Nod32 and i like it.. its small. and comodo firewall + spybot (scanner, not active protection) seems to fit.

i think the case is closed, jholland1964 thanks for all your tremendous help. I wouldn't have any clue as to what was wrong.. you helped me point to the right direction, thanks.
if you got anything to add or you think that i am mistaken and need to take more steps pls reply. and the "Clumsiness" seems to have faded away during the startup. My old AV(avast free) was the problem(i think).

thanks jholland1964, have a nice day
