    Ad-Aware 2007 not ignoring

Every time I run Ad-Aware 2007 free edition, it finds an entry in my
hosts file that it doesn't like. Since I put that entry in there
myself, I select that item and tell Ad-Aware to ignore it and add it
to the ignore list. Yet the next time I start Ad-Aware, it says 0
items in ignore list, and finds it again. Not a big deal, but a little
    annoying.

Couple of items for the wish list: a progress indicator on signature
update downloads; after the download, change the date on the primary
screen to reflect the just-completed update.

Isn't there an option to avoid scanning your HOSTS file completely?
SE has - while I don't run 2007, I couldn't tell you where to look.
