    Malicious Site

    I have a Check Point Z100G router at home and think it does a great job so I bought another to use at work. Got it up and running. I have noticed in the log that it is blocking url www.tqlkg.com about every ten minutes. I have malicious sites blocked in web filtering and that is what is catching it. I run spy sweeper, spybot, adaware and trend micro on a regular basis. Does anybody have any ideas what I might be up against. My Z100G is doing it's job but I would like to fix the root cause. Below is my HJT log. BTW XP Pro, SP2, Dell 8300.

    My Z100G is doing it's job but I would like to fix the root cause.
    Really not certain what you are asking here. The root cause is it is trying to "contact" your computer and your Z100G is doing what it is supposed to do, block it. If this website is being blocked then you are correct it is doing it's job, don't really think there is anymore that can be done. Here is a link which tells what this is;

    possibly an ad script, from a different website, in temp files, checking for something hosted at the website listed on the block notification? have you cleared all your temp files/objects/cookies?

    Thanks, you are correct. I use window washer and had removed the cookie deleting option. I had tracking cookies trying to access the internet even when I was not on line. Word to the wise, if you do not delete tracking cookies or have a router that will catch outgoing transmissions, your surfing is visible.
