In your manual for your motherboard, there should be a list of "beep codes". Find it. Look up what the particular beep that you are getting means.

There's no list of beep codes. The closest thing is the troubleshooting section, which only covers beeps at the post screen. The beeps I'm getting are before I even reach the post screen. Rather, there's nothing on my screen at all.

That's the list you want. Beep codes are the t-shooting codes that you are getting and that list is referring to.

Q: What do the beeps emitted during the POST mean?
A: The following Award BIOS beep code descriptions may help you identify possible computer problems. (For reference only.)
1 short: System boots successfully
2 short: CMOS setting error
1 long, 1 short: Memory or motherboard error
1 long, 2 short: Monitor or graphics card error
1 long, 3 short: Keyboard error
1 long, 9 short: BIOS ROM error
Continuous long beeps: Graphics card not inserted properly
Continuous short beeps: Power error

I don't think any of these describe my situation, where it's one continuous long beep that doesn't end until the power is shut off. It's not a series of long/short beeps, just one beep that goes on and on.

Hmmm...sounds like it might be graphics card related...take your video card out. See if it still beeps. (it should be the same one).

THere's no sound now but it's not booting up. It never really was but before it had the sound so I thought that might've been the problem. It's not starting up at all now and nothing's happening. The PSU fan isn't moving (like before) and nothing is happening inside the computer. :\

Are you sure it's still getting power and something else wasn't unplugged? At this point it seems that maybe the video card might be bad....you don't have another one laying around by chance that you could test with?

This motherboard doesn't have integrated graphics either does it?

I don't have any other PCI cards that I can test with. I'm not sure about the motherboard having integrated graphics.

I also mentioned earlier that the Main Power Connector was missing the metal inside one of its pins. Could that be a possible cause of the problem?
