So I'm graduating high school this june and my grandpa said he'd get me a new laptop for college. I'm currently running a 4 yr old Toshiba Satellite (2.4 GHz 60GB 512MB RAM with a pretty bad video card). Ive been using this for some time now, but I'm looking for a significant upgrade. I'm not a huge gamer but I would like to play COD 4, Half-Life, and some other FPS games. I have alot of music so i need alot of HD space (right now im overflowing onto an external, but I would like to use it more as a back up). Also, I need a laptop that isn't too bulk and could survive in a backpack (light but durable). Price is not a big issue (somewhere under $2.5k or around there). I've always run Windows OS, but I'm willing to try Mac OS if a Macbook Pro is the right choice. I haven't narrowed it down by any means, but a few choices have caught my eye: (feel free to add any other choices...)
