    AVG Anti-Spyware

From what I can determine, the AVG Anti-Spyware program is only available in
a package with the AVG Anti-Virus program, ver 8.0. I want to purchase it
as a stand-alone, but cannot seem to find where it is offered. Has anyone
purchased this as a stand-alone program? It appears that the "free" edition
is all that is available. Am I right or wrong, and am I overlooking
    something?

can safely operate utilizing quality programs free of charge.
    Consider this:
    1. Uninstall AVG
    2. Download/Install

most ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers and other
unwanted programs from the user's computer. SpywareBlaster works by
blacklisting the CLSID of known malware programs, effectively preventing
them from infecting a protected computer and also allows the user to

The last letter must have been inadvertently dropped when doing a cut

    http://free.grisoft.com/doc/download.../frt/0?prd=asf

The AVG antispyware is free after the 30 day trial expires. Then you have
check to see if you need to update it yourself. I don't mind paying a few
dollars for it to automatically update, because it does that 3 or 4 times a
day. I really rather keep it, because I know it's compatible with the AVG
    anti-virus ver. 7.5.
It appears there may be a few problems with AVG 8.0 for some people which
AVG antispyware is packaged with, and I don't need those to contend with.
