It showed up on my system. Perhaps there was a program running when you
installed SAS that interfered with the install.

    I guess we'll never know.

Hope you enjoyed the Holiday weekend.

I just recently installed SAS Pro. It seems to do everything
o.k. without any problems (install, uninstall, update signatures, etc)
The only problem I had was when I entered my setup preferences
in the Preference Window (with all the tabs) they would not
stay enabled. (there were no O.K. or Apply buttons)
The next time I looked at it, they had all gone
    back to default settings.

I accidently descovered that I could shut down my Win98 box
(at Start/Shut Down) while the Preference Window was open
and that would keep my entered preferences enabled.
(these computers are nutty things sometimes, ha)

Hopefully someone will be able to explain that.
    I use SAS also in Win98SE (Dual boot: 98SE & 2000Pro) and I haven't had that
    problem.
I also don't have an apply button, but when I use the 'Close' button on the
    bottom right, it saves.
Perhaps you should use the SAS site to submit you query.
Let us know the response you get.
