Why is this worth so much?

Toshiba Tecra A1 Pentium 4 M 2.2GHz Laptop

Any ideas on why this is so expensive?

All brands with similar specs seem to be right around this price or more;
comparable Sony=around $2,170; IBM= $1,681.99; heck I found a Dell that was more than $2500.
Of course if you really shop around you may get better deals. I just did a quick search for same specs

I actually got a nearly new one for $200. An elderly gentleman bought it to download music and carry it around the house like a boombox, but realized how much of a waste it is so he was selling it. With the low Ram, old Processor, no video card, ect. I just figured 200 was a fair price. He just got it less than a month ago.
