Random shutdown, virus?

Hi I'm having some problems with my computer it keeps shutting down when I run a full system scan with norton antivirus 2007, here is my HJT log, is it being caused by a virus?

We need some more info here.
First of all your HJT log is incomplete. The top portion is missing, the part that will look like this but of course with your info;

We also need more information on the computer itself...I see it is a Toshiba Laptop. How big is the hard drive, how much RAM is installed?
If you don't know you should be able to get RAM info by Right Clicking My Computer and choosing Properties. When System Properties opens the very first TAB you see should show the amount of RAM installed at the bottom of the info given there.
To check Hard Drive size double click My Computer. When that opens Right click on "C" drive and choose properties it should then show you hard drive size AND how much space is remaining.
Does this only happen when scanning with the Norton program? Norton IS somewhat of a resource hog so one thing you need to do is have as little as possible running in the background when doing the scan. Close everything unneeded during the scan OR reboot the computer to Safe Mode and try running the scan in safe mode and see if it still shuts things down.

Right here most probably is your problem....That is the barest minimum of RAM required to run Norton and barest minimum to run XP is 128MB. So you don't have enough RAM really to run Norton and everything else that is running on the computer. How long have you had this Norton program and exactly what is it, the Security Suite or just the anti-virus program? What version is it?
Just take a look at the O23 entries in your HJT log and you will see how many items that Symantec/Norton loads when the computer starts up.

It's the Norton 360 suite so I think its all the internet security stuff not just the anti-virus, the computer also started switching off randomly now, not just when I run the Norton scan.
