Need antivirus website .

I have another pc that I bought used ,it's very slow compared to my old pc on 98se ..This newer one is a pentium4 1700 ,xp pro,256 memory ..on dialup ..
I am looking for the free anti virus downloads .I forgot the name etc. Also need the the download that searches and destroys viruses ..
any help will be appreciated ..

additionally, if you can possibly get some more memory in that system you should see some increase in speed/performance
256 just really is not enough for XP or XP Pro
