IE loads slower now

Since two days ago, some programs including Internet Explorer are loading very slowly. I can't find the problem so i was wondering if someone could. Id really appreciate it.

A quick look through the log doesn't show me much EXCEPT you don't seem to be running either an anti-virus program or a firewall.
Both of these are a MUST.
There are remnants of a Norton program showing in the Services section of the log but it would appear that you have attempted to uninstall the program and these are left behind Service entries set to start when the computer starts up. You say this began two days ago...did you add new hardware, software within the last 48 hours?

Yes, I did have norton but whenever I clicked on the icon in the tray, it would pop up then the computer would shut down. Also, I did have Zonealarm Pro but it did the same thing as Norton. Didnt know what to do so i uninstalled them both. For the hardware, I actually installed another NIC card.

HAve you attempted the steps here
If not I recommend you begin there. I am not a "hardware" person so will also have somebody else take a look but with the problems with both Norton and Zone Alarm there certainly could be "something else" at work here.

Yes, before this happened, I installed a new NIC card and installed ZoneAlarm Pro.

Turn off the Zone Alarm and see if this makes a difference.
