Well, if you can find a job that pays as well as this and gives me the flexibility I need going to school, then I'm all for it....but this is the best opportunity for me...and I had to run with it...being unemployed sucks.

See, I am taking night classes, 3 nights/week. But I need to be out of work before 4pm in order to make it to school. Here I work 8-2 (usually) M-F, and then I work one day or all weekend....but I need to keep at least 30-37 hours/week and the days....

I know I probably rub it in too much, but I'm on the 5th. week of 6weeks off and will go back to work for 2weeks (7days a week/12hrs a day) and then have another 6weeks off. Of course I've also got enough vacation hours on the books to not have to go back to work for at least 6 months (approx 1400hrs vacation) and still collect a paycheck. Problem is, I rarely get to take advantage of the vacation, hence the huge balance. I currently work 6months a year (while I'm working it's 7 days a week and 12hrs a day though) and earn 5weeks paid vacation per year.

I should also mention that after about 6-8wks off my wife is ready to kill me so I usually go back to work for self preservation. It seems I can get pretty hard to live with after a few weeks off. Go Figure.
