Is it possible to copy folders in XP saving all custom views?

Is there any way to copy music files from one folder to another saving all views? For example I view all music folders as thumbnails (To view picture) and the contents as a list & arranged by track #...Also I arrange all CD's by an artist in order of release(Year).....I've got to move a large folder from one drive to another (Internally) in the same computer.......Is there an easy way, saving all custom views?

I know that there are some (freeware?) programs available to manage large collections and they might be what you are looking for - I just can't remember the names . . .. sorry!
Somebody else may have a better memory and chime in.

    Best luck

XP does save your folder view settings as long as you open a folder (any folder) and configure the view settings to your liking.
Once done, click Tools > Folder Options > View and make sure 'Remember each folder's view settings' option is selected and click 'Apply' button at the bottom. Then click on the 'Apply to All folders' button on top, click Yes at the confirmation, then click OK to exit (see screenshot).

Each time you visit a folder on any drive that XP sees, the folder settings should match the initial one. This would work unless you got some sort of a policy in effect that is reverting things to a pre-configured setting.

You also have the 'Files and Settings Transfer Wizard': START > RUN > migwiz > OK (%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\usmt\migwiz.exe) to backup or transfer these types of customizations for future needs.
