Question RESOLVED - New Video Card, goes black after windows loads. Help?

Just installed a Nvidia Video-208PCI-128Twin on her computer.
    (GeForce MX4000)

I followed the instructions and I hooked the monitor up to the new card and it shows the loading screen then the Windows XP loading bar and logo, then it goes black after windows loads, how do I fix this?

    Windows XP
    256MB ram
    Pentium 3 Processor

Have you tried booting into safe mode?

When the computer starts up, after the motherboard splash screen start pressing F8 repeatedly until you get the boot options screen. Choose safe mode and see if the computer will boot there.

If you can get into safe mode; Ensure that the monitor drivers are installed and that the refresh rate, color bit depth, and monitor resolution are set to modes that are compatible with the monitor.
