Wireless problem-(dont connect automaticaly)

my internet connection set up is like this
---------------Wired ---------------------------------------Wireless
Xbox 360 -------------Belkin FD92304 Router ------------------ USB dongle

when i get my internet connection online is works fine almost all the time at maximum speed but when i start up my pc the internet connection will not start up by itself even tho ive told it to. i have to load up talk talk assisst and go diagnostic program. i go so far through this and it connects to the internet, near the end it tries to set up the windows wireless manager and it asks for my dongles SSID or to select the dongle from a list so i select the dongle, but this still does nothing because it says it cannot find ssid or something. does anybody have a belkin system that could help me?

If you do not understand what im saying, i can post pics just let me know.

ANOTHER QUESTION: i use ADSL connection (separate modem and Router) my connection type is dynamic should i change it to PPPoE?

yh done that except mine isnt securedlol, my network does actualy work it just doesnt do it automaticaly when it should.

Call your ISP and see if they know anything else about it?

It sounds like you need to power cycle everything and maybe re-do your adapter install/network connection wizard on the computer.. I don't like wireless, you should use ethernet.

i reset my router, and tried to uninstall the adapter but it wouldnt let me, i went control panel - add or remove - i went through it saying remove but at the end it says " belkin network adapter have sucessfuly installed on your computer" so i deleted the folder on my hard drive and it seemed to go but still appeard on "remove programs section" after installing again it says on the manual after i connect it back to my pc it should automaticaly go to the add new hardware utility - as you can guess this does not happen, so i tried doing that manualy - add hardware says the usb adapter is working correctly but clearly it is not! this is really starting to bug me

Regarding only your computer and hardware installation problems..

Disconnect your USB adapter, start the computer in safe mode, log in as administrator then open the control panel; open system; click on hardware; then device manager; scroll down to the USB section; then one by one, starting with the bottom, Remove the USB devices and USB root hub from the device manager in safemode; then click on the action tab and select check for hardware changes; Once it loads the devices and drivers; re-install the USB adapter hardware and software according to the manual and instructions for that device.

Open the device manager again, locate your network adapter, right click on the adapter then select properties, it should say "device working properly" ok, then make sure that in the power tab; that the "allow computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.. Unless this is a laptop that you want to conserve power on, to extent the battery life etc..

Then go into your network connection properties; if there are "no connections" you need to configure a new network connection.

Follow the instructions provided by your wireless router and wireless adapter for installing a new wireless networking connection.

These instructions will require that you log into your wireless router using a wired ethernet connection to the back of the router; from there you can configure the way computers and devices are "allowed" to connect to the device.. Pay close attention to the security settings as having a wide open, insecure wireless connection can get you in trouble; unless there's nobody living around you for miles and miles where you don't have to worry about people piggybacking..

P.S. although many ISP's may not be able to confirm the following speculation...

If they "ISP", or their technology determine that, there are certain "parameters" being met by your connection, or number of connections, by your internal network; they can and will disable certain portions, if not all of your connection.. So if by following the manuals instructions for the connection; does not get your connection up and running; if it says there is a connection to the router; and you can ping your "default gateway" there might be something else preventing your routers wan port from passing TCP/IP packets..
