My girlfriends computer is having some issues, and i have no idea what the problem is, I reinstalled windows on her pc, and when i turned it on i could hear her hard drive like wind up and stop wind up and stop wind up and stop then it would boot, and then when she would log onto her PC it would freeze sometimes instantly, sometimes after ten min, it would never freeze when at the Log in screen. So i figured it was her hard drive, i then decided to get her a new harddrive, so i bought her a new 80gig western digital ide100. Her computer is a little older, And it still freezes, just be browsin the internet and it would freeze. It doesnt shut off, no errors, just freezes. And sometimes its right away and sometimes its not.

She has a Winfast mother board, a mobile amd athalon 600mhz (wow that sucks) and its mobile. it had a gig of ram in it, Roswell ram, and i took one of the sticks out. and it had a dial up card and i pulled that out too. It has card reader slots hooked up in the front to read all sorts of Sd cards, thats hooked up.
