Windows Internet Explorer 7 problems

Every so often whilst using IE7 (Only on the odd occasion, with Firefox being my main browser), I get the usual error message "this program has performed an illegal operation, and needs to close.....etc etc", for no apparent reason.

Does anyone else have this problem, or even know why IE always does this, no matter WHAT you are doing?

We need more info. What are you doing at the time...i.e. playing a game, looking a pictures, filling out forms, printing? Does this happen on all websites or just certain ones or types? If it has happened more than once when viewing a specific site please give us that site so we can check to see if maybe the problem lies with the site or maybe you need a specific plug-in for the site.
