probably not configured properly. Its IE 7.0

Btw..... AVG didn't produce a log for me ><
It scanned, then after the scan there were 305 bad files, but no option to save log, so i pushed "Apply all actions" Then the files were removed and the scan finished, I didn't get log i'm sorry =(
Unless it saves automatically to some spot I don't know.
Ill post a new HJT log.

Angelboi, don't see anything in the HJT log right now which will be a problem. But it is so cluttered with unnecessary items that I want you to run it again and clean it up some and then we can see another, hopefully cleaner log and I can try to make a better judgement.

First of all it looks as if the computer is running parts of two anti virus programs...Norton and some McAfee leftovers. Thought I recommended you wait on the Norton and do a search for left over McAfee and get rid of those first...Norton is now there as is the McAfee left overs and at least one of the McAfee is now starting up in auto start. No wonder this thing is freezing or you cannot run any of the online scans.
You really need to clean this thing up, we can't do a real check until all this left over junk is gone.
Before you do anything else PLEASE go to Start, Search, Files and Folders. Type in McAfee. Have it search C drive. Once it is complete then DELETE every McAfee file found.

Then go to Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools and double click on Services. Look through there and everything McAfee remaining there needs to be turned OFF and Disabled. Hopefully there won't be anything there but if there is DISABLE it. Next you need to go to this website and download Mike Lin's StartUpControl Panel and install it. be sure to click on the FIRST download on his page. It is a very tiny program.

When it is installed you will then find it in the Control Panel with a little computer icon labeled Start Up. Open it up and look through all the tabs you see there for these listings. Take the checkmarks out of all that you find on this list. Once you have done this then click Ok. Shut down the computer and restart. Hopefully these unnecessary starts will be gone and the computer will run faster.

Here is the list. Print it out so that you have a record of it and what I have told you to stop running at Start Up.
I believe all of these are unnecessary but I have put an explanation of each so if there IS a problem with a program later then you will know which one to go back into the Start Up Control Panel and re-enable the auto start by putting a checkmark back in.
    Here is the list:

ALCMTR.EXE>>>Realtek AC97 Audio - Event Monitor. "Sypware" file used surreptitiously monitor one's actions.

Sony Ericsson PC Suite>>>The Sony Ericsson PC Suite for the Sony Ericsson P910 phone. This program can be used to synchronize your data between your PC and phone. You can start this program as necessary. This program is not required to start automatically as you can run it when you need to. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.

LogitechCommunicationsManager>>>Reports indicate that this process can use up a great deal of memory. If this is the case for you, it is advised that you disable it.

LVCOMSX>>>It provides extra functionality for Logitech multimedia webcam devices. It is non-essential to the running of the system,

mcagent_exe>>>From McAfee VirusScan On-line. The Agent is a red M icon that appears in the Windows system tray or Notification Area

SSBkgdUpdate>>>ScanSoft OmniPage auto updater. Can be disabled using the main program's options. This program is not required to start automatically as you can run it when you need to. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.

OpwareSE4>>>ScanSoft's OmniPage_Pro - If running, a user can call up OmniPage from inside of Word and ask it to scan something, via "File, Acquire Page." Also some of OmniPage's Options dialog boxes are accessible from within Word. Only required by novices and is Available via Start -> Programs. This program is not required to start automatically as you can run it when you need to. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.

SunJavaUpdateSched>>>Checks with Sun's Java updates site to see if newer Java versions are available. Visit Sun's Java page or just run the Java Plug-In Control Panel. This program is not required to start automatically as you can run it when you need to. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.

BigDogPath>>>This is a valid program that is bundled with many digital cameras that use a USB connection. The program is used to capture still shots from the camera. This program is not required to start automatically as you can run it when you need to. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.

QuickTime Task>>> System Tray access to Apple's "Quick Time" viewer. Not required to auto start and can easily be run manually

    iTunesHelper
    >>> Installed with Apple's iTunes for Windows. Uses ~3-4MB of memory. Can be disabled and run manually. Just remember to go back in after use and disable auto start because it automatically puts itself back in auto start when used.

    NeroFilterCheck
    >>>Associated with "Nero Burning Rom" CD writing software. Checks for driver issues. Is not a required program but if you feel you need it then leave it in auto start. Have never seen a reason to need it really

    USB Storage Toolbox
    >>>Related to USB_Storage_Toolbox from Koma-Code. Users choice as to whether to keep it starting or not. Not a program required for the running of the computer.

TkBellExe>>> Application Scheduler installed along with RealOne Player. Once installed, it runs independently of RealOne Player. Not required

    Kernel and Hardware Abstraction Layer
    >>>Part of the Logitech Setpoint software for their wired and wireless mice and trackballs. Sets the Windows mouse sensitivity to minimum. The idea is that you will use the SetPoint Control Panel to adjust your mouse sensitivity. This setting is maintained separately from the Windows setting, but is combined with the Windows setting to determine the final sensitivity user Choice as to whether it should run or not.

TOSCDSPD>>>Toshiba laptop related. Used to provide an acoustic silencer for the CD drive. If you are playing a music CD, or installing software, and the CD player vibrates noisily, due to a poorly balanced CD, you can invoke this program from the task bar and slow down the player. Whether or not you need to run this program on startup must be decided by you. If you feel that you want this program starting automatically so that you have it available as needed, then do not disable it.

msnmsgr>>>MSN Messenger. This program is not required to start automatically as you can run it when you need to. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.

Sticky Pad>>> from Green Eclipse. Place sticky notes on your desktop. Obviously user choice. If you use it keep it, if not uninstall.

LDM>>>Installed with the software for Logitech products. Automatically checks for software upgrades AND new products, services and special offerings from Logitech. This program is not required to start automatically as you can run it when you need to. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.

WindowBlinds>>>Part of Stardock's WindowBlinds custom desktop program. If you use it - keep it if not then uninstall it

OneNote 2003 Quick Launch>>> part of the note taking program that ships with Microsoft Office 2003. It's required for the side note windows to work. If you don't use this then disable it.

Adobe Gamma Loader>>>Adjusts monitor colours across all programs, including Photoshop. It is needed by some graphics professionals who want their monitor calibrated. Most home users will not need it. In my case I can verify this as Photoshop loads fine

Adobe Reader Speed Launch>>>supposedly speeds up the launch of Adobe Speed Reader. Not required for Adobe Reader. I have enabled and disabled and honestly have not noticed a difference in the speed of launch.

    BlueSoleil
    >>>Part of BlueSoleil Bluetooth communication suite. This software allows your Bluetooth enabled computer to interact with other Bluetooth enabled devices. Choice is yours

RAMASST>>>Optionally installed with some DVD drives (LG, Panasonic, etc). Disables Windows XP's CD-burning abilities because they cause some incompatibilities. It does not affect your ability to burn CDs. If you do not have this program running, you may have some compatibility issues with burnt DVDs. Your choice.

ehTray>>>system tray icon that allows you to control various aspects of Media Center. Whether or not you need to run this program on startup must be decided by you. If you feel that you want this program starting automatically so that you have it available as needed, then do not disable it.
Please note this DOES NOT remove the program or stop the use, it just stops the auto start and stops it from running in the background all the time.

After you do this then reboot the computer.

    Run HiJackThis again and put a checkmark next to the following entries if they remain;
