    I got exactly the same result. It identified my Canon printer drivers as
    Trojan: generic!! Whaaaaat!!!!
    Erring on the side of caution I un-installed the program + did a full virus
    scan+ did a full Spybot scan+ did a full Adaware scan + deleted any
    vestigial files remaining after the un-install.

    Sheesh!! Paranoia.
    What would cause that "error" ??

    A false alarm with the software. It happens. You should contact the
    author(s) and inform them of the issue, so they can correct it.

    An HP printer will read embedded code in a jpeg purposely.
    Print messages to you and whatever else.
    Not mal-ware on HP's part, merely cooperation with uncle.

    In my case it was because two computers "talk" to one another, so it
    was seen as a trojan, rather than two PCs deliberately and safely
    networked together using one printer.
