Well. Removed Visual IP program. Restarted and still get the "worm detection" from Norton, when opening IE to go to MSN homepage. Still the same problem.

That has always been the crazy thing. It gives no name. Just that a port scan was done...

If I knew a name we would be able to give rid of it.

Is this what you are seeing? Click More Info on the alert as the page suggests. If this is the error you are receiving then I would say it may be a false positive. Follow the directions on that page to stop it.
