I agree, why not start with the steps HEREproblems I am having most if not all are Internet Explorer related.

The box that appears when connection is attempted says
Work Offline
No connection to the internet is currently available. To view Internet content that has been saved on your computer, click "Work Offline".
Click "Try Again" to connect to the internet.
Clicking "Work Offline" gives the message, The webpage is unavailable because you are offline.
(The connection indicator shows a good connection)
Clicking "Try Again", connects to the internet.
Clicking on the "Tools" Button just after the Work Offline box appears does give the "Diagnose Connection Problems" as a possible selection but it is not highlighted and selectable.
I went on down to the Vista section in the troubleshooting page. It says to click the start button and select "Run", there is no "Run" to select. I went to "Search" and typed in the program which was to be "Run" Nothing was found
In I.E. when it does come up it will not display iGoogle contents. Also will not connect to Hotmail.
Opened the Firefox Browser and have no problems.
How about reinstalling Internet Explorer, Is that a possibility?

One quick thing to try that can fix some "Internet Explorer is not responding" messages is to
In IE go to Tools > Internet Option Under the "Advanced" tab, press the "RESET" button at the lower right.
See if this helps
