Xbox 360 Elite

After selling all My games and console, I now start over with the Xbox 360™ Elite in black. I was heading out of the gaming world all together but with changes to this place staying open and a bit of change in family situations I'm now going to slowly enter back into the Xbox world. I sold everything so lets get a fresh start I say to myself. I'm going out this weekend to CC to pick up the console and a few new games.
Let this be a warning to all. Don't sell it for you will regret it. Now my first outlook on future games is focused on Madden NFL 2008. The screen shots that are starting to come about are awesome. It will be a must buy.

I heard that the 360 elite isn't quite as "fast" as the previous consoles, based on someone testing it's performance, by throwing consecutive grenades on the same game, same map location, on the previous 360 console, the nades would go off nice and smooth, on the elite, the nades would go off and cause the game to lag a little... Anyone else know?
