    File Type Descriptions

    Does anyone know how to change the description of a file type in Windows XP?

    I would like .avi files to display as "DivX Video" instead of "Video Clip"

    GoTo My Computer/Tools/Folder Options/FileTypes; scroll to AVI, highlight it and select 'Advanced'. You can edit the file type and it's association from there.
