I am not having any problems.I said that I would post a log when I got everything set up the way that I wanted.As for the firewall,it is built into Norton,which I am going to run for the length of the trial and then delete.I will check into stopping some start-up programs at a later date,but that will come after I am more comfortable with Vista and have more time to look into things in depth.Thanks as always for your input and I will most likely chack back with you in the New Year.Have a great time at whatever events you have planned and a safe and happy holiday to all.
