Ad-Aware is not a trojan-hunter. That would be expected.

So are you now saying that your daughter is not living near to you? You
didn't mention that before. Close enough for you to drive over there?

Well, we've given you enough to go on. How you handle the logistics is
now up to you, I suppose. Best of luck.

You could also download the other browsers' installation files, burn to
CD, and visit her with that CD, and a printed copy of the method to
    remove the trojan.

    I don't think it's trojan. A trojan doesn't give you a pop-up saying "You
have a Trojan". It's 'Malware' and AdAware hung it up. The driver isn't
deleted and she keeps getting pop-ups but her browser isn't hijacked anymore
(so far). McAfee (her preference) is the security of choice, and we hope for
    an update soon.

I like dirt bikes, and think riding with cars is dumb. My last one was a
1973 Maico MC450, and I miss it, but it was hard to start with it's new
electronic ignition (at least for an old man

Perhaps, perhaps not. Depends on the creativity of the author.

    ...a generic term for trojans/spyware/viruses/worms/keyloggers/etc.
